By becoming a member of the Johnston Farm Friends Council you will play an instrumental part in securing funds to help support the everyday operation and the interpretive programs that are presented to our visitors. We have received very generous grants from the Hartzell Norris Charitable Trust, the Neils and Ruth Lundgard Foundation, and the Piqua Community Foundation in the past. We continue to pursue other sources of grants to support our work.
The funding challenges that have been faced in the past are still with us. Due to greatly reduced funds from the state level, we continue to operate on the equivalent of our 1986 budget, which means we must deal with shortfalls in many areas. This makes your membership very important to us. Again, each dollar generated through site memberships remains with the Johnston Farm Friends Council, and is used to support the Johnston Farm & Indian Agency, one of Ohio’s premier historic sites.
By becoming a member today, and considering an additional gift, you will help us maintain this important cultural and heritage landmark.
